3. Acceptable Use Policy

By using the service, you agree:

Not to upload content that may harm our servers, violate Indian laws, or infringe third-party rights.

No payment information (e.g., card, UPI) is stored on our servers.

5. Refund and Cancellation

Refunds are only provided if the plagiarism scan fails to generate a report due to a technical issue.
No refunds will be issued for successful scans or user-uploaded mistakes.

We are not liable for academic, legal, or institutional consequences resulting from the use of our platform or reports.
Reports generated are only for self-assessment and may contain errors.

Maximum liability, if proven, shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction.

8. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be temporarily unavailable for updates, maintenance, or outages beyond our control.

9. Indemnity Clause

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Red Paper, Akinik Publications Pvt. Ltd., its team, and affiliates against any losses, damages, liabilities, or legal fees arising from your misuse of the platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of any law.

Connected apps (including ChatGPT and Claude)

You may link your Red Paper account to third-party apps such as ChatGPT and Claude. Scans started from a connected app use the credits in your Red Paper account under these same Terms, and the resulting reports belong to your account. Connected apps cannot purchase credits or change your account settings. You are responsible for documents submitted through apps linked to your account, and you can revoke an app's access at any time from your account settings. Third-party apps are governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Rohini, Delhi.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
