Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of Service

Red Paper provides digital plagiarism checking services that begin immediately upon submission of content and confirmation of payment. These are non-tangible, non-reversible digital services, and once initiated, the service is considered consumed.

2. Refund Eligibility

We follow a strict no-refund policy once the scan process has started or the report has been generated. Refunds will only be considered in the following situations:

  • ❌ Technical Failure: If your payment was successful but no scan was initiated due to a verified technical error on our server.
  • ❌ Duplicate Payment: If a user is charged more than once for the same scan due to a transaction error.
  • ❌ File Not Processed: If a file upload fails due to server-side issues, and no plagiarism report is generated.

Refunds are not provided under the following conditions:

  • User uploaded the wrong document.
  • Low match percentage or unexpected results.
  • Dissatisfaction with report format.
  • Misunderstanding of how the platform works.
  • Report already generated and visible.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, the user must send an email within 24 hours of transaction to:

Subject: Refund Request – [Transaction ID]

The following must be included:

  • Full name and email used during payment.
  • Transaction ID / PhonePe UTR.
  • Description of the issue.
  • Screenshot or proof (Mandatory).

Once verified, eligible refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

4. Cancellation Policy

Due to the instant nature of our service, cancellations are not allowed once the user has submitted content or clicked “Submit” on the scan page. Once the plagiarism check is initiated, it is immediately queued or processed, and thus, non-cancellable.

5. Discretion and Final Decision

All refund and cancellation requests are subject to verification and approval by the support team. The decision of Linear Publication regarding refunds and cancellations shall be final and binding.

6. Payment Disputes

Users agree not to raise disputes via bank or payment gateway without first contacting our support team. Unfounded disputes may lead to account suspension and denial of future service.
