How to request deletion

Send an email to support@checkplagiarism.ai from the email address registered on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.

Requesting from your registered address is how we confirm the request is really yours. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, write to us anyway and we will verify your identity another way before deleting anything.

You can also raise the request from inside the app: Account → Delete account.

What gets deleted

When your request is processed, we permanently remove:

Your name, email address, phone number and country
Your account login and API credentials
Documents you uploaded for checking
Plagiarism and AI-detection reports generated for you
Any unused credits on the account

What we keep, and why

A small amount of information has to survive deletion because the law requires it:

Payment and invoice records — retained for the period required under Indian tax and accounting law. These are financial records of a completed transaction, not profile data, and they are not used to contact you.

Nothing retained is used for marketing, and it is not linked back to a usable account.

How long it takes

We action deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them, and usually much sooner. You will get an email confirming once it is done.

This cannot be undone

Deletion is permanent. Your reports and remaining credits cannot be restored afterwards, and credits are not refundable on deletion — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you only want to stop receiving emails from us, you do not need to delete your account — use the unsubscribe link in any email instead.
